In Memoriam ... Sister Margaret Picha SSND
Margaret is a School Sister of Notre Dame who (since 1970) has been in the ministry of spiritual and human development. Her degrees in religious education (emphasizing phenomenology) and human development allow her the background to assist others in integrating psychology and spirituality in their lives. She has also been involved in the training and supervision of spiritual directors for more than 30 years. Her experience in on-going formation in her Congregation and her interest in living a healthy spiritual human life giver her the ability to support many in their personal growth.
Update: On November 10, 2007, Margaret passed away after courageously living with a recurrence of cancer since 2000. During those years she continued to minister with others in all the varied ways her gifts/talents allowed. Her absence has been a great loss - personally for all who love her and professionally for all who benefitted by her presence. Her heart and soul were totally dedicated to the ministry of holistic spirituality for the good of all she encountered. Margaret has served Wellsprings since 1991 - and continues to serve as a deeply spiritual presence and guide.
